Minutes from the Public Hearing of the Water and Sewer Authority held at the Waste Water Treatment Plant, 24 Commerce Road, Newtown, CT on Thursday, June 10, 2010. Chairman Richard Zang called the meeting to order at 7:00pm
Present: Lou Carbone, Alan Shepard, Dick Zang, Marianne Brown, Carl Zencey
Absent: Gene Vetrano, Richard Conte
Also Present: Julio Segarra and Jason O’Brien from United Water Environmental Services, Inc., Fred Hurley, Director of Public Works and Len Moritiz from St. Rose
Set the Sere Benefit for 46 Church Hill Road/St. Rose Garage at $6,700. First floor is 1/3rd of the benefit assessment for a total of $2,233; Second floor is 2/3rd of the benefit assessment for a total of $4,467.
Mr. Moritz is representing St. Rose. They will be getting a partial C of O for the 1st floor so the benefit assessment would be $2,233. He questioned if the $4,467 would be locked in for the second floor. Mr. Zang replied that it would be.
